Afternoon class - 12:45-2:30pm - Home Brewing: Country Wines and Herbal Beers

In this class, Isaac will share with you simple and easy ways to make tasty, healthy, intoxicating beverages. Emphasizing medicinal plants, he'll show you how to make old fashioned country wines and hip herbal beers with plants you can forage or grow yourself! We will be sampling some of the DELICIOUS beverages he has made such as dandelion wine, nettle wine, elderberry wine and root beer.

Isaac Hill is a musician, writer, permaculturist, forager, fermenter and all around plant geek. He's been experimenting with practical Permaculture in his forest garden in the outskirts of Pittsburgh's suburbs since 2010, and been obsessed with wild plants and their uses since the age of 9.
